DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n“Water Finds its Way: Challenges and Resources for Less Commonly Taught Languages”\nA talk by Dr. Lisa Gulesserian\nTuesday, April 11, 2023\n4:00–5:30 pm ET\nHarvard Language Center (Science Center B06)\nThe less commonly taught language (LCTL) classroom is a unique space on campus with special challenges for language instructors. At times, these numerous challenges feel like a deluge. In this talk, Dr. Gulesserian will describe the challenges of the LCTL classroom and will share adaptable resources and strategies that she has used in her LCTL classroom to meet those challenges. In sharing these resources, she hopes to encourage her fellow LCTL instructors to remember that, as an Armenian proverb reminds us: “Water finds its way.”\n\n\n
