Watch the following videos to see how I structure my lessons and create interactive lessons to help my students learn.
With a colleague at Columbia University, I coded an online open educational resource using a static site generator on a tight timeline and strict budget after testing over 30 educational technology platforms and tools. To develop our online textbook currently in the pilot phase, we used backwards design and adhered to best practices for creating audiovisual materials in online or blended teaching environments. In this example from the third unit, you can see how I structured learning goals, lessons, vocabulary lists, grammatical explanations, and review exercises for adult language learners.
This video shows my approach to making learning interactive—instead of passively consuming information, learners use their logical abilities to solve problems.
