Poetry Lecture and Workshop on “Hayrens: An Armenian Poetic Form”
I presented a lecture on hayrens—an Armenian poetic form—and led a poetry-writing workshop for Hamazkayin Canada’s Levon Shant Armenological Course on Saturday, 28 January 2023. In my lecture and workshop, participants were introduced to the hayren poetic form, collaboratively produced Armenian-language hayrens, and presented their poems.
